Glenny began her pole journey in 2011 at the age of 38. She and her 49 years young friend decided to try pole for some extra fitness and immediately fell in love with the sport.

In 2013, at the age of 40, she started competing at the provincial and national level. Since then she has earned herself the following awards;
– 2013 CPFA Provincials Masters Division 2nd Place
– 2014 CPFA Masters Division 1st Place
– 2015 CPFA Masters Division 1st Place
– 2016 CPFA Masters Division 1st Place
– 2018 PSO Western Canada Championships 2nd Place

She was also a competitor and finalist in Pole Theatre Canada 2018 and has performed on many stages for the pure joy of the sport.

In addition to competitions and performing, Glenny has been a Pole Fitness instructor since 2013 and a recreational gymnastics instructor since 2014. She has taught individuals of all body types and fitness abilities in ages ranging from 3 to 87. She has always said that her greatest joy is watching her students grow and evolve.

Her love of the circus and aerial arts have lead her to opening her own studio Circus Freaks where she looks forward to sharing her love of the aerial arts with her community.

Glenny is also a Colour Therapist by trade and an animal lover at heart. When she is not teaching or training you will find her horseback riding with her dog through the beautiful forests and countryside found only on Vancouver Island.
